1,600 Local Businesses Receive Direct Financial Support

UK lockdown extended for at least 3 weeks

Following consideration of the scientific evidence by COBRA and Cabinet, the Government has announced an extension to the UK lockdown for at least the next three weeks.

Job Retention Scheme Cut Off Date Extended to 19 March

Thousands more workers are now able to benefit from the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme after the eligibility date was extended from 28 February to 19th March. Under the scheme employers can claim a grant for 80% of the wages (up to a cap of £2,500).
