Runnymede and Weybridge constituency Pub of the Year competition

Thank you to everyone who nominated their favourite local pub as part of our first ever Runnymede and Weybridge Pub of the Year competition. It is clear we have a large number of amazing pubs which are really appreciated by the community for their welcoming atmosphere, great food, drinks, music, sports and more.

It is always difficult to select from so many amazing recommendations, but the shortlist is set out below:

  • The Bear, Oxshott - recommended for best food, garden, and atmosphere.
  • The Jolly Farmer, Weybridge - recommended for best music, atmosphere, sport and heart of the community
  • The Olde Swan, Chertsey - recommended for best beer, food, friendly atmosphere, heart of the community
  • The Pelican, Addlestone - recommended for best food, music, atmosphere and pub garden
  • The Red Lion, Egham - recommended for best food, drink, atmosphere and sport
  • The White Hart, New Haw - recommended for best food, atmosphere, pub garden, and heart of the community.

I will be visiting each of the shortlisted venues in the coming weeks (some I know well, others I am looking forward to getting to know), and the final vote for Runnymede and Weybridge’s Pub of the Year will take place next month.

Congratulations to every pub nominated, I will be reaching out to each to let them know the amazing feedback I have received from their customers.
