Following my campaign this summer to find the best pub in the Runnymede and Weybridge constituency, six pubs were shortlisted from a high volume of nominations, with a final vote held In November. And I am delighted to announce that the winner of the Runnymede and Weybridge constituency Pub of the Year is...
The White Hart - New Haw!
The White Hart is a fantastic community pub, with a lovely family friendly beer garden on the bank of the Wey Navigation, with a great range of food and drink and programme of events, including pub quiz and karaoke, throughout the week. Nominations from residents highlighted the friendly team and great atmosphere of a pub that is truly at the heart of it's community.
Huge congratulations to the whole team at The White Hart, and I look forward to seeing you again soon to present your award.
This competition and the feedback from residents has highlighted the many great pubs across the constituency, offering a huge range of great food, music, sports, and facilities, while providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community.

The feedback from residents highlights the important role our pubs play and the efforts the teams behind them go to in support of their customers and communities.
